Our website address is: configify.ca. We are Configify Inc., a digital engineering and AI automation company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
What Personal Data We Collect and Why
Contact forms When you submit our contact or project brief form, we collect your name, email, phone number, company name, and project details. We retain these submissions for up to 2 years for follow-up and service purposes. We do not use this information for marketing without your consent.
Cookies We use functional cookies for site operation, and analytics/marketing cookies (see Analytics below) to understand traffic and campaign performance. A first-party cookie stores referral and campaign source data for up to 30 days.
Analytics We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand site usage (pages visited, session duration, device type, session recordings/heatmaps). You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking via Google’s opt-out tools. See Google’s and Microsoft’s privacy policies for details.
Visitor and company identification We use third-party tools that can identify the company — and in some cases the individual — associated with a website visit, even without a form submission, based on IP address and other technical signals. Some vendors may match your activity to your email address and use it for marketing on our behalf. You can opt out at https://app.retention.com/optout.
Who We Share Your Data With
We share data with: Google (Analytics 4, Tag Manager), Microsoft (Clarity), HubSpot (CRM), Tawk.to (live chat), ipinfo.io (IP/company lookup), RB2B (visitor identification), and Retention.com (email matching). We do not sell your data. Each provider’s own privacy policy governs their handling of shared data.
How Long We Retain Your Data
Contact form submissions: up to 2 years. Attribution cookie data: 30 days. Analytics data: per each provider’s standard retention (Google Analytics 4 default is 14 months).
What Rights You Have Over Your Data
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and can opt out of marketing or visitor-identification tracking, by contacting info@configify.ca.
How We Protect Your Data
We use encrypted connections and secure storage, and limit data access to what’s necessary to provide our services. Our third-party providers are required to maintain their own reasonable security standards.
